In our online courses you will learn together with other people from all over the world in a vivid and communicative way one of the perhaps most demanding, but also most interesting languages in the world. And that from the comfort of your home!
Regardless of whether you are a beginner or advanced, we offer courses from A1 to C2 and at any time of the day. In small groups of 8 - 13 people we practice reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar together, be it for everyday life or for work. The lessons take place via Zoom and you can then repeat what you have learned via our Moodle platform. Our "Wolkenkratzer" textbook for the basic level (A1 to B1) is also available online completely free of charge. Our courses are only run by qualified native speakers, because quality is important to us. Our prices always remain fair and transparent.

OnlineHybrid Writing
4 units of 45 minutes/week
Monday & Wednesday | 17:15 -18:45 / €130 for 4 weeks/ B2.2 and above
We learn creative writing , practice descriptions of graphics and learn how to write convincing arguments and business letters. The course takes place online and face to face at the same time. It has 2 parts. Each part lasts 4 weeks and can also be visited individually.

Scientific German
2 units of 90 minutes/week
Tue+Th | 19:00 - 20:30 / 130€ for 4 weeks. C1 and above
Scientific German differs significantly from general German. In this course you will learn how to communicate scientifically and use special vocabulary. For this course you need the textbook "Wissenschaftssprache verstehen" from Klett-Verlag.

Are you struggling with the german grammar? Then attend our grammar course in presence or online (www.tandem-frankfurt.de).
Part1: Conjugation, case, alternating prepositions, adjective declension
Part2: Sentence structure (negation), connectors, verbs with prepositions, pronominal adverbs
Part3: Relative clauses, passive, participles as adjectives, conditional II

We are reading relevant news articles and discussing them in a group setting.

In our A1, A2 and B1 courses we use our award-winning textbook Wolkenkratzer. The book is available to you as online version completely free of charge at www.lernmedien-wolkenkratzer.de. In the higher levels we use Aspekte Neu. The online license can be purchased at blinkedlearning .
The printed version of 'Aspekte neu' can be bought in a bookshop, and the printed version of both 'Wolkenkratzer' and 'Aspekte neu' can be bought at the school.

The course fee must be paid in advance.

The registration is valid for 4 weeks. A continuation of the course in the next level is usually possible.

If online lessons are not right thing for you and you want to cancel your course, we will only charge you 1 course week (25%) if you let us know within 5 days of the start of the course. (This offer is only available to participants who are registering for a course for the first time)

We can enrol you in a course at your level, but we cannot guarantee that the course will start with a specific lesson. The learning success or the achievement of a certain level depends on the individual requirements and cannot be guaranteed.

If you cancel your registration once the course has already started or decide not to participate for personal reasons (e.g. due to illness), we are unable to refund the course fee. If you cancel your registration up to four weeks before the course is due to start, we will charge a cancellation fee of € 30. Cancellation at a later date will incur a fee of 20% of the price for the full four weeks or a fee of € 30, whichever is higher.

The courses are aimed at adults and course attendance requires regular participation and active cooperation. Should there be any disruptions, we reserve the right to exclude participants from the course.

In the instance that a visa has been granted specifically for the attendance of a German language course, participation in the course is mandatory and cancellation is generally not possible.

Dates and prices are subject to change. Alterations to the offered courses and the course fees are also possible during the current year of courses.

If we are obliged to cancel a course, we will reimburse already paid fees. No further claims can be made.

The occasional cancellation of classes as a result of exceptional circumstances will not be substituted.
