In our online courses you will learn together with other people from all over the world in a vivid and communicative way one of the perhaps most demanding, but also most interesting languages in the world. And that from the comfort of your home!
Regardless of whether you are a beginner or advanced, we offer courses from A1 to C2 and at any time of the day. In small groups of 8 - 13 people we practice reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar together, be it for everyday life or for work. The lessons take place via Zoom and you can then repeat what you have learned via our Moodle platform. Our "Wolkenkratzer" textbook for the basic level (A1 to B1) is also available online completely free of charge. Our courses are only run by qualified native speakers, because quality is important to us. Our prices always remain fair and transparent.

Grammar course (hybrid)
2 units of 45 minutes/week
Wednesday / 13.30-15.00 / €60 for 4 weeks
Are you struggling with the german grammar? Then attend our grammar course in presence or online (www.tandem-frankfurt.de).
Part1: Conjugation, case, alternating prepositions, adjective declension
Part2: Sentence structure (negation), connectors, verbs with prepositions, pronominal adverbs
Part3: Relative clauses, passive, participles as adjectives, conditional II
The course has 3 parts. Each part lasts 4 weeks and can also be attended individually.
Blended Learning: 90 min of preparation using e-learning + 90 min on Wednesdays with teacher

Scientific German
2 units of 90 minutes/week
Tue+Th | 19:00 - 20:30 / 160€ for 4 weeks. C1 and above
Scientific German differs significantly from general German. In this course you will learn how to communicate scientifically and use special vocabulary. For this course you need the textbook "Wissenschaftssprache verstehen" from Klett-Verlag.

German for the job

Monday and wednesday 19:30 p.m.-21:00 p.m. | 100€ for 4 weeks
Would you like to work in Germany or in a German-speaking country? Do you need in-depth knowledge of the world of work, job-related vocabulary and would you like to deepen your knowledge of grammar? Then this course, face-to-face or online, is just right for you. This course can be attended from B2.1 and the parts can be booked independently of each other, as the course is modular.
We train important professional language skills, idioms, vocabulary and grammar in a professional context.
Note: For the course you need the book: "Aspekte Beruf B2" from Klett Verlag.

OnlineHybrid TestDaF digital preparatory course
12 units of 45 minutes/week
Monday, Tuesday and Friday, Thursday one on one tuition à 20 minutes / 13.30-17.00 / €460 for 4 weeks (examination excluded)
Four-week preparatory course for the digital TestDaF exam. Students are required to have completed level C1 beforehand. You can find the examination dates and information about the registration process on our web page under Exams.

In our A1, A2 and B1 courses we use our award-winning textbook Wolkenkratzer. The book is available to you as online version completely free of charge at www.lernmedien-wolkenkratzer.de. In the higher levels we use Aspekte Neu. The online license can be purchased at blinkedlearning .
The printed version of 'Aspekte neu' can be bought in a bookshop, and the printed version of both 'Wolkenkratzer' and 'Aspekte neu' can be bought at the school.

The full course fee must be paid at least one week before the course starts.

The registration is valid for 4 weeks. A continuation of the course in the next level is usually possible.

Depending on the course type, each course for a certain level may begin with different lessons. Learning outcomes and the achievement of a certain level depend on individual circumstances and cannot be guaranteed.

The courses are aimed at adults and course attendance requires regular participation and constructive cooperation. We reserve the right to exclude participants from the course if they behave disruptively or fail to participate as required.

If you cancel your registration once the course has already started or decide not to participate for personal reasons (e.g. due to illness), we are unable to refund the course fee. If you cancel your registration up to four weeks before the course is due to start, we will charge a cancellation fee of € 30. Cancellation at a later date will incur a fee of 20% of the price for the full four weeks or a fee of € 30, whichever is higher.

If online lessons are not right thing for you and you want to cancel your course, we will only charge you 1 course week (25%) if you let us know within 5 days of the start of the course. (This offer is only available to participants who are registering for a course for the first time)

If you register for a two-week course, the course fee will be 60%, for a three-week course 80% of the fee for a four-week course.
